Keto diet: Nutritionist reveals the best foods to make the best of the weight loss plan


Keto diet foods are low in carb and high in fat.

The plan is designed to put the body into a state of ketosis.

This is when the body is burning fat as its primary source of food, rather than carbohydrates.

Those on the diet track their macros, meaning the main nutrients in their diet, to stay on track.

The usual breakdown for a keto diet is to get 70 per cent to 80 per cent of your daily calories from fat.
